The Crowne Plaza Petra, situated in a UNESCO world heritage site, has undergone numerous alterations since it was first built. Determined to keep a 5-star service, the client wanted to renovate and expand the hotel facilities. Working cautiously not exceed any UNESCO regulations, the new renovated design consisted of expanding the hotel rooms, pool terrace, and chalets, while also adding a new spa facility, and re-designing the main building façades. The color palette used was mostly earthy colors and glass for the design to be integrated in the existing fabric and not to overpowering the marvelous surroundings.
